Der Typ sieht zwar ein bisschen arg "nerdig" aus, seine Videos und sein Büchlein kann ich aber empfehlen.

I'm one of the few people I know that really loves music theory. All the minute details and subtleties that people have written about over the years is fascinating to me.
But that's me... and in my experience it's probably not you :)
And really, that's totally okay. Despite what people tell you, there is no reason to get a college education on music theory to be a better guitar player.
But I will tell you that just the right amount of theory done in just the right way will change the way you play guitar for the better - and it will do it starting almost immediately.
