ich habe am Wochenende "Gabrielle" gesehen. Hier kommt ein Bericht. Ich habe ihn auch in ihrem Forum gepostet, daher nur auf Englisch. Viel Spaß:
Hello everyone,
I saw "Gabrielle" last Friday and I'm still so impressed. To begin with I like the story a lot. Nothing is more interesting than in inner conflict and a play just consisting of two people. I also liked this unusual way of filming a period drama (I'm so used to Ivory ;-)). In this film the opulent setting was just the background and the focus was on the actors. I also liked this free moving of the camera. Now to Isabelle: There was this constant change of her character being distant and then very emotional. This was so exciting for me to watch. I was so much drawn into the screen :-). I also loved the beautiful way she was filmed. It was very erotic, but in a very decent and subtle way. All in all, a wonderful movie. I'm curious about other opinions.
