I've read somewhere that teachers have been deported from the island for teaching English at a second school.

Can anyone confirm this? and how serious has this become in Taiwan?

Lot’s of rumors! You never heard of someone with a real name, address, and story.

There are many stories about this on the internet! Never someone talking about him/herself

Who wants to see his/her name have published here after beeing deported. Who wants to admit they have broken the law?

Guess not too many.

After 23 years here in Taiwan I know quite a few cases! Teachers, Musicians all kind of professions. People who worked without proper papers, its simple and also happens in other countries.
