 The Global Young Scientist Summit

The Global Young Scientist Summit (GYSS) is held annually by the National Research Foundation of Singapore (NRF Singapore). The conference was first held in 2013, in Singapore.

With the theme "Advancing Science, Creating Technologies for a Better World", GYSS is a multidisciplinary, multicultural, multi-generational forum, a place where young scientists from around the world attend and exchange directly. with renowned scientists and technology leaders from around the world. Besides, young scientists also have the opportunity to visit universities and research institutes; attend Singapore's diverse cultural experience experiences.
GYSS 2020 takes place in 2020 as the 8th conference to be held. GYSS 2020 brings many speakers who are prestigious scientists, recognized with major scientific awards in the world.
Time: January 14-17, 2020

Location: Biopolis @ one-north, Singapore

Registration object to attend:

Currently: University students, Postgraduate students, PhD students, Young scientists doing postdoctoral programs. Note, holders of title related to the professorship cannot register;
Not more than 35 years old (as of January 2020);
Has never participated in GYSS conferences before;
Fluent in English, capable of participating in discussions and activities within the conference;
Demonstrate genuine interest in science and research
Demonstrate engagement with the main field of research that is pursuing, ready for interdisciplinary research.
A letter of introduction from the dean, or a famous scientist in the world.
Some expected timelines

August 8-9, 2019: GYSS Organizing Committee will receive the registration, and contact the registrant directly to conduct an application evaluation.
From October 2019: GYSS Organizing Committee notifies the registrant of the selection result.
