I´ve one question back to the topic (by the way:the topic was Easter ): What are you traditionally eating? Do you have a special Easter ham like we have or something totally different?

Re: Easter
Thanks for getting me back on track
Umm... well my Ukrainian side (my mom's) we'd eat this sweet kind of bread (I can't remember what it's called) and pedeshkeh (sp?) which is little dough balls filled with meat and saurkraut. Cabbage rolls are really important too!
On my dad's, well, Polish is almost the same, just different names for foods.
If anyone is not Polish or Ukrainian and doesn't follow a specific tradition, there's a Canadian alternative! Chicken, ham, gravy, potatoes, veggies, bread, and lots of dessert! (Note the dessert)
That's pretty much it...

Re: Easter
Well, I´ve already mentioned what we are eating and that´s totally different! But it´s nice to have so many costums all over the world!

Re: Easter
Definitely! Maybe we can all get together for supper and bring a dish of our heritage... that's what we did in French class! I'm surprised everyone didn't bring Cabbage Rolls (since almost my entire school is Mennonite lol).
