Siblings...

Siblings...

For everyone out there who has siblings, rant about 'em here!  Or, if you're an only child (like me) then you can rant about not having siblings!  Hooray!

Like I said, I'm an only child... it's just my mom, dad, and me (and Peri the bird, of course) so... I like it!  It's fun not having anyone to bug you!  Aaaaand you always get the last piece of cake, all the presents under the tree are for you, and you don't have to compete with after-school activities!  But, if you get in trouble, you have no one to blame it on.

Alright... let's hear your opinions:

I´m an only child too and I´m quite happy about it! You´re totally right Meg: as a single child you´ve so many advantages and your parents spend all their time just for you. I wouldn´t have done and do so many different things in my free-time and I wouldn´t play so many instruments if I had a brother or sister.

But sometimes especially in some sad situations I´d like to have an older sister for example - but I have my friends and I can choose them by myself...

I kind of wish I had an older brother... to tell me what goes on when you grow up and go to univeristy and stuff, but I have friends for that

We single children have always to be both: on the one hand we are the "older brother" who has to find out everything byhimself, and on the other hand we are somehow the pet of the family... Nice....

I, on the other hand, DO have a sibling. 

I have a younger brother who's 11.  He's ... well ... better than most 11 year olds out there.  He's real short.  Haha.  He's sometimes annoying and all .. but could be cool sometimes.  I just hope I'm not THAT bad of an influence ...

Cool!  What's his name?  And what do you mean by "good for an 11 year old"?  Do you guys get into fights a lot?  One of my friends at school loves her little brother to bits and she gets really annoyed when people come up to her and say, "Ugh!  I hate my little sister!  I want to kill her!" or something like that, she can't understand why siblings would fight.  If I had a sibling, I'd never fight with them!!

I have two brothers... uh...12, and 16.. The older one is nice, me and him get along really well.. But the little one is annoying. If I am talking on the phone to my friends, he'll randomly pick up the phone and either start talking or listening, or drumming. It makes me so mad!
