No, but when my parents bought the house the previous owners were big tennis buffs. We picked the house for other reasons and got a tennis court in the deal-io.

My school hasn't had any practices yet, but I was invited to a reading session today. That's when you get a bunch of musicians together and they sight-read new music for other band directors so they can hear what the new music sounds like and buy it. Ta-daaa... But it's all sight-reading which is awesome for me cuz I love it (come on, this is the time where you're allowed to make as many mistakes as you want!) but for some others it was difficult... I was sitting in between another band director and a fifth-year university student. Kind of daunting but hey, it was fun.

It's a LeBlanc Concerto, and I love it!! I could've gotten a LeBlanc Opus, but the only difference is that is has an extra Ab/Eb key on the side (for you clarinetists, it's by the alternate C key). And for $2000 more for the Bb and the A Clarinets I wasn't willing to pay that much. I'm not sure what that is in Euro but you can easily figure it out online. Oh wait, it's about €1413 so... you can imagine.
But anyway going back to school next wednesday for one hour, then real school starts on thursday booo yaaaaa....

Should I shock "un peu"?? School up here starts September 11th, but university starts October 2nd and my first lecture will take place October 9th!!!!!

School gets closer and closer and I get grumpier. I have to work almost every morning before school so I can't even enjoy my last few days of sleeping in!

I still find it incredible that people have started school already. erg- I start Wednsday; I'm only remotely looking forward to it.

Umm... you can register, but you should talk to your band director first because it's easier (and they other people like you better) if your director refers you. Invite your band director too! We always need more instruments!
Megg: Yes, I'm selling my plastic one at the moment, 663-4065 if anyone in Winnipeg wants a plastic clarinet for, say, $250 or best offer? (sorry, cheap advertising I know!) and I'll be selling my Sonata eventually, not yet, though!
Back to school for an hour tomorrow... to set up my locker and stuff... then real school on thursday YAY!
my first day back here in austria.. pretty boring. i laundred my clothes - this was the most exciting thing happening today...
first warm meal since ages I think.. ok i had paella in spain but most time we just ate stuff from the supermarket.
so i'm quite tired now.. went to bed late last night and got up at seven 8 i know I'm crazy )
now I'm gonna read through all those thredas here and then I#m going to sleep
