BtVS 6.3 Gruß aus der Hölle (Afterlife) Auszug Dawn kommt zum Fuß der Treppe. Spike begreift endlich, daß etwas vor sich geht. Dawn: Schau. Dawn dreht sich um, und wir sehen Buffy hinter ihr die Treppe herunter kommen. Spike: Und? Ich hab den verdammten Bot schon mal gesehen, Hätt nicht gedacht, daß sie ihn wieder zusammenflicken Er bricht ab und starrt Buffy an. Sie geht die Stufen hinunter und erwidert seinen Blick. Dawn: Sie ist, ähm... sie hat eine Menge durchgemacht... wegen dem... Tod. Aber ich denke, sie ist okay. Buffy bemerkt, daß ihr Hemd noch aufgeknöpft ist und hält es zu. Dawn schaut zu Spike, der Buffy noch immer ungläubig anstarrt. Dawn: Spike? Geht's dir gut? Spike: Ich bin... was hast du getan? Dawn: Ich? Gar nichts. Buffy hält den oberen Teil ihres Hemdes zusammen und sieht Spike ängstlich an. Spike: Ihre Hände! Buffy nimmt ihre Hände herunter und versteckt sie hinter ihrem Rücken. Dawn: Ähm, ich wollte mich darum kümmern. Ich weiß nicht, warum sie so sind. Spike: Ich schon. Hat sich ihren Weg aus dem Sarg gegraben, deshalb. zu Buffy Hab ich recht? Buffy: leise Ja. Das... das mußte ich tun. Spike: Hab ich selbst schon. Während der ganzen Zeit starrt er Buffy an, als würde er träumen. Jetzt kommt er endlich wieder zu sich. Spike: Ähm... Wir kümmern uns um dich. Komm her. Er streckt seinen Arm aus und führt Buffy ins Wohnzimmer. Spike: zu Dawn Hol etwas Zeug, äh, Jodtinktur, Verband. Dawn: Okay. Dawn geht los. Spike folgt Buffy ins Wohnzimmer. Sie setzt sich aufs Sofa, und er setzt sich ihr gegenüber auf den Kaffeetisch. Er nimmt ihre Hände in seine und betrachtet sie. Dann schaut er in ihr Gesicht, und ihre Augen treffen sich. Buffy: Wie lange war ich weg? Spike: Hundertsiebenundvierzig Tage gestern. Äh... hundertachtundvierzig heute. lächelt ein wenig Obwohl heute natürlich nicht zählt, oder? Buffy antwortet nicht. Er schaut wieder auf ihre Hände und wieder in ihr Gesicht. Spike: Wie lange war es für dich... wo du warst? Buffy: noch einem Moment länger.
