Rick will be joining Keith Emerson, Chris Squire and Simon Kirke to warm up the crowd for Led Zeppelin's reunion gig at the new O2 venue in London on 26th November. No specific details have been released yet, but as soon as they are we will have them on the RWCC site."

Eigentlich müsste bei der Besetzung Wakeman, Emerson, Squire und Kirke ja Led Zeppelin Vorgruppe sein !

War die Verlosung schon. Einige Leute aus dem Yes oder ELP Forum hatten sich ja beworben ...
Vielleicht gibt es zumindest irgendwann Aufnahmen von diesen Konzerten.

Auf die Setlist bin ich auch schon gespannt. Songs von ELP, Yes und den Soloplatten. Wakeman und Squire bei "Fanfare" und Emerson und Kirke bei "Parallels".

Ich habe leider keine Tickets...
Jetzt stellt euch einmal vor, welchen Powersound die beiden Meister aus ihren Keys kitzeln könnten... Squire singt dann die Lake-Parts und bringt technisch viel mehr Spielstärke rein als Lake.
Vielleicht kommt es zu einer Tour...
Die Led-Zep-Fans werden aber recht wenig mit ihrem Glück anfangen können, nehme ich an.

Hmmmm... Vorgruppe hat Soundtechnisch und Längenmäßig einen bissl negativen Beigeschmack... kann im Prinzip (leider) auch der ur Scheiß werden.

Ein paar Piano-Duo-Songs wären natürlich auch klasse. Wakey könnte mit Emerson auch was wie "Statue Of Justice" spielen.
Ich denke schon, dass viele Led Zep Fans was mit der "Vorband" anfangen kann. Und Page erinnert sich vielleicht auch wieder an die Interimsband XYZ .
