Impressions of some common transmitting tubes.


QQE03/12 twin tetrode,output power 15W@200MHz
Still works at 450MHz (tested it), of course at a lower output power, maybe 3...5W.
Price: <5€
It comes from Valvo and has a blue labelling (higher reliability for aviation and seafaring use). An indication of this is that the glass is "shrinked" above to hold the system faster.
