The censor, probably reading these posts, has thought better of censoring Rosenbergs identity and Israeli journalists will no longer brook the wrath of the censor by naming her. Another small victory against the national security state apparatus. If you support this work, please make a donation using the sidebar donation options.

The Role of the US and Turkey in the Battle of Kobani
A war is being fought for control over Western Kurdistan and the northern areas of Syria, including three de facto Kurdish enclaves there. The fighting in Western Kurdistan is a means to an end and not a goal in itself. The objectives of gaining control over Syrian Kurdistan and northern Syria are critical to gaining control over the rest of the Syrian Arab Republic and entail US-supported regime change in Damascus.
The Human Rights Association (IHD) has issued a statement on the occasion of 20 November Universal Childrens Day, saying that this year 49 children have been subjected to torture in Turkish prisons, and 64 in detention centres. The IHD recalled that 129 children had suffered sexual exploitation and that those guilty of raping children had gone unpunished.

The Turkish Special Forces, known as the "maroon berets," have provided a "subsidiary" training program for the Iraqi Kurdish fighters since one month in a military camp operated by Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in northern Iraq, Turkish Foreign Ministry officials, who asked not to be named, were quoted as saying.
YPG/YPJ fighters who repulsed an attack by ISIS gangs using bomb laden vehicles and tanks on 29 November, inflicted heavy blows on the gangs. YPG/YPJ fighters have also taken some positions from the gangs on the south eastern front. Rojvan Kobanê described what happened on 29 November when the gangs came to take Kobanê with Turkish support. He said: "That day they wanted to take Kobanê, but it didnt happen. They couldnt do it. We counter attacked and took several of their positions.
The resistance in Kobanê is now in its 79th day. All ISIS attacks have been repulsed by the resistance of the YPG/YPJ fighters and the people of Kobanê. The attack mounted from Turkish territory on 29 November was one of the biggest ISIS attacks. The assault started with a bomb laden vehicle crossing from Turkey through the Mürşitpınar Border gate and on the same day ISIS carried out a day-long attack on the city using heavy weaponry, 4 car bombs and suicide bombers. While all the attacks were repulsed, the armoured vehicle that ISIS brought through the border gate exploded on the way in to Kobanê.
