Get Ready for 2005 Tax Free World Exhibition:
TFWA World Exhibition will be staged in the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, from Monday 31st October to Friday 4th November.
The biggest annual event in the travel retail and duty free industry calendar will open on Monday with a business conference. Entrance to the
conference is included in the pre-registration package and over 600 delegates are
expected to attend.
The trade exhibition will open to visitors at 11am featuring around 500 international
companies representing 3,000 premium brands which supply airport, airline, ferry and
downtown duty free retail outlets all over the world. Glamorous fashion houses, world
class fragrance and cosmetic brands, liquor and tobacco suppliers, up-to-the
minute technology, confectionary and food, jewellery and
watches, quality gift and toy specialists.
Glamorous social events are being laid on by organisers TFWA including a Welcome
Cocktail on Sunday 30th and Le Premium gala dinner on Thursday 3rd.
TFWAs own night club The Scene will be erected on the Noga Hilton Beach once again to entertain late night Business People.
In addition to the official events there will be a wide selection of product
launches, cocktails, formal dinners and parties staged by exhibitors during the week.
A selection of sporting events on Sunday - golf, jogging, tennis, petanque (boules), rugby and
Football, will give visitors and exhibitors a chance to get acquainted before business
begins on Monday.
