mag die neue
wobei ich find, dass einige wenige Songs herausragend sind
Grounds for Divorce, Bones of you, One Day like this
und der Rest ein klein wenig dahindümpelt
mag die ruhigen Sachen auf der Leaders ja so sehr
My very best, The Everthere, An imagined affair
und da kann für mich auf der neuen keine Ballade das Wasser reichen
aber wie gesagt, ist irgendwie ein fieser Vergleich
da die Leaders für mich ein Überalbum ist
Platten brauchen "ihre" Zeit...
geht mir sooo oft :/
erst so la,la & irgendwann platzt der Knoten und...

bei der neuen ELBOW ist es ähnlich aber...
und irgendwie freu ich mich auch auf das neue DCFC Album...
und dann kommt die neue COLDPLAY und wie soll man dies alles unter einen Hut bringen ??

find ich eigentlich blöd, da jede Platte wie schon erwähnt Zeit braucht & Zeit verdient !!
MÜSSEN da wohl mal an die Bands herantreten und ein Jahresplan erstellen...
NUR alle drei Monate ein Album - ich brauche ZEIT... 
Voller Selbstbewusstsein präsentierten Elbow im Jahre 2005 ihr Album "Leaders Of The Free World" und ernteten überraschend viel Kritikerlob.
Nun ist es bekanntermaßen schwierig, dem erneut eins draufzusetzen - solche Ambitionen gehen meist in die Hose und weit am Ziel vorbei.
"The Seldom Seen Kid" ist bei weitem kein Totalausfall geworden, Elbow wollen einfach nur zu viel! Kombinieren pompösen Piano-Pop
mit roughen E-Gitarren und ausschweifenden Streicherarrangements. Das funktioniert auf Albumlänge nur mittelprächtig, und wenn Sänger Guy
Garvey obendrein von einem Konzeptalbum spricht, stellen sich alle Nackenhaare auf. Schade: Musikalisch kann seine Band weit mehr,
als sie auf "The Seldom Seen Kid" zeigt. Unlängst bewiesen, nehmen Elbow womöglich eine kreative Auszeit?

Jo Whileys Live Lounge - Tomorrow
Tune into Jo Whiley's lunchtime show on Radio 1 tomorrow (Thursday 5th June) to catch Elbow in the Live Lounge.
In accordance with Live Lounge tradition, Elbow will perform their new single 'One Day Like This' as well as a mystery cover of a well known song. Let the speculation begin...
