Cordelia: Oh nein, ich hab mich getäuscht.
Giles: Es geht weiter. Ich nehmen an, du weißt das... Er wird seine ganze Wut gegen dich richten. Für ihn ist das nur logisch. Er wird gegen alles kämpfen, was seine menschlichen Empfindungen geweckt hat.
Buffy: Sie müssen bitter enttäuscht von mir sein.
Giles: Nein, nein das bin ich nicht.
Buffy: Es ist alles meine Schuld.
Giles: Nein, das glaub ich wirklich nicht... Erwartest du, daß ich dir vorwerfe, du hättest unklug gehandelt? Das könnte ich, denn das stimmt... Aber, ich weiß, du hast ihn geliebt, und er... hat mehr als einmal bewiesen, daß er dich geliebt hat... Du konntest nicht wissen was geschehen würde...
