Heike & Winfried organiseren een wandeling via CouchSurfing. Iedereen van de wandelgroep is welkom.

There is a bus stop nearby at the Rijksweg with the name "Wahlwiller", provided by the Dutch bus line "Veolia 50" between Aachen and Maastricht (2 x per hour). In Aachen the bus stops are at Hauptbahnhof, Theater and Schanz. Here is the timetable as PDF: https://bit.ly/f6L4Q4 .
Car pooling or going together by bus would be nice.
Spring finally appeared: it's time for a spring hiking trip!
Together we will explore the beautiful landscape of South Limburg near Aachen. We will hike over hills and through groves, along the babbling brook >>Geul<<, an old water mill and a railway line for steam trains. We will enjoy wonderful views and pass small villages like Eys (with a nice pottery) and Wijlre.
Beyond that it's a good possibility to chat and to get to know each other.
During the hiking tour we will stop by at the restaurant-café >>De Pannekoekenmolen<< (= Pancake Mill) to enjoy typical Dutch pancakes, coffee or a beer. Have a look at https://www.depannekoekenmolen.nl

The hiking tour is around 15 km in total and should be suitable for everyone who likes walking in nature. The ways and paths might be slippery or wet: so walking shoes can be recommended. Maybe you take something to drink with you.
After the hiking tour we will reach the parking place (or bus stop) in Wahlwiller between 17:00 and 18:00 h.
