Coca-Cola hat mit N.E.R.D. und Mando Diao die ersten beiden Live-Acts genannt, die im April und Mai Konzerte für Coke Sound Up, das neue Musikprojekt der Getränkemarke, geben.
Zum Auftakt der neuen Marketingaktion hatte Coca-Cola eine Online-Session mit der Band Maroon 5 veranstaltet, nun folgen die ersten Live-Shows. So treten N.E.R.D. am 9. April gemeinsam mit der Formation One Night Only im Zenith in München auf. Um die kostenlosen Tickets müssen sich Interessierte auf der Homepage des Unternehmens bewerben.
Das gilt auch für das nächste Konzert bei Coke Sound Up, das am 7. Mai im Hamburger Stadtpark über die Bühne mit der schwedischen Band Mando Diao über die Bühne geht. Wie beim Auftritt von N.E.R.D. soll es dabei zahlreiche interaktive Teilnahmemöglichkeiten für die Konzertbesucher geben.

Mando Diao Citizens will get together with the american writer Jason Kelly (currently located in Tokyo) to help the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck Japan on March 11.

Mando Diao for Japan
Like everyone else, after witnessing the recent events in Japan, we were moved to contribute to the rescue and recovery efforts. We were encouraged by all the initiatives taken by our fans in Japan but also all the support that came through the Mando Diao community.
One of the ideas that was suggested was to raise money in support for the recovery efforts by the sale of Mando Diao merchandise. Together with the members of our street team and our Merchandise partner, Bravado, we are excited to start an initiative to benefit the Japanese Red Cross.
For one week we will be collecting orders for a very special and exclusive t-shirt. The design comes from the Mando Diao Citizen Special Unit in Tokyo Tokyo Towers. It was designed by Sayuri Katsuyama and we remember when we received the t-shirts when we met their group on our last trip in Japan.
That design comes from our Japanese fan club, together with the text United Citizens of Ochrasy One Blood, One Heart, One Soul serves as a fitting message for how this community can work together to support each other when disaster strikes.
Starting today, Thursday March 31st until Thursday April 7th you can pre-order your t-shirt online in our webshop and on Bravado.de.

After decision by the band members Samuel Giers is no longer the drummer in Mando Diao. We wish him all the best in the future. Samuel would like to thank all the fans for all the good times together and hope to see you somewhere in the near future.

Nicht gut, gar nicht gut.... 
Das klingt wirklich sehr nach "gegangen worden" und nicht nach persönlicher Entscheidung. Wie allgemein üblich in solch einer Situation, die Band selbst äußert sich natürlich nicht und lässt stattdessen mitteilen. Ich denk, wär er aus freien Stücken gegangen, aus welchen Gründen auch immer, hätte es ne persönliche Mitteilung gegeben, von allen Beteiligten.
Nun wird erst mal wieder spekuliert, was das Zeug hält, was auch ganz natürlich ist, denn in der Regel gibt sich kein "Fan" mit so ner "Erklärung" zufrieden.... Ich hoffe wirklich, dass das nicht der Anfang vom Ende ist.
natürlich geht jetzt bei mir das große nachtrauern los... ich hoffe es gibt noch eine erklärung... 
der drummer prägt den sound einer band ganz entscheidend!!

Hmm, Google spuckt genau zwei Ergebnisse aus, eine schwed. Seite (Fehler 404) und eine finnische, was es nicht leichter macht...ich versteh außer Moi u. Moi Moi nur ganz wenige, einzelne finnische Wörter, wie Perkele, Vittun....naja nicht weiter wichtig.
Erfahrungsgemäß sind auch Übersetzungsprogramme schnell überfordert mit der Sprache, aber ich deute aus den Brocken, dass Sam in nem schwed. Interview darauf hinweist, man solle die Band fragen, was die Gründe angeht. Und dass es wohl nicht seine Entscheidung war. Der Rest ist blabla.
