Chapter 12
Am nächsten Morgen wurde ich von einem energischen Rütteln geweckt. Vorsichtig öffnete ich meine Augen und schaute direkt in das Gesicht von Jenny. Sie hatte sich über mich gebeugt und versuchte verzweifelt mich zu wecken. Steh doch endlich auf Eva. Es ist schon spät. Du musst dich noch anziehen.....ich muss mich noch anziehen.....und schminken........! Hmm! gab ich genervt von mir und schloss meine Augen wieder. Ich wollte doch einfach nur schlafen. Will und ich hatten uns gestern bei Kian verquatscht und waren erst spät in der Nacht zurückgekommen und müde in unser Bett gefallen. Wo war Will überhaupt? Meine Hand suchte ihn neben mir, aber das einzigste was ich fühlen konnte, war eine leere Bettdecke neben mir. Plötzlich wurde mir bewusst was heute für ein Tag war und mit einem Satz war ich aus dem Bett gesprungen. Endlich! jubelte Jenny. Wieso bist du noch nicht angezogen? Auf was wartest du noch? Du hast es dir doch nicht anders überlegt, oder? Ich war jetzt mindestens genauso hektisch wie Jenny. Die schaute mich entgeistert an. Natürlich nicht!...Oh mein Gott, ich heirate heute! Sie stieß einen grellen Freudenschrei aus, in den ich aufgeregt mit einfiel. Hilfe Mädels, mir platzt das Trommelfell! Will hatte den Kopf durch die Tür gesteckt und schaute uns kopfschüttelnd zu. Verschwinde bloß mit Keith, Will. Der Bräutigam darf die Braut vor der Hochzeit nicht im Brautkleid sehen und genau das wird Jenny jetzt anziehen. Ich nahm Jenny an die Hand, drückte mich an Will vorbei und lief in Jennys Schlafzimmer. Dort saß Keith, der sich gerade seinen Anzug aus dem Schrank holte. Die Klamotten, die er schon auf das Bett gelegt hatte, nahm ich auf meine Hand. Dann drückte ich sie Keith in die Hände und schob ihn aus dem Zimmer. Das er nur in Boxershorts und Socken vor mir stand, war mir relativ egal. Jenny musste jetzt zurechtgemacht werden und ich musste mich ja auch noch fertig machen. Aber...! protestierte Keith. Kein aber. Du kannst dich auch bei Mark anziehen und jetzt raus aus dem Haus, alle beide! Ich schlug Keith die Tür vor der Nase zu und wendete mich an Jenny. Was als erstes? fragte ich sie ahnungslos. Keine Ahnung. Das Kleid? Ich nickte und kurze Zeit später hatten wir Jenny in ihr Kleid gesteckt. Eine Stunde später mühte ich mich, nur in Unterwäsche bekleidet, an einer vernünftigen Frisur für Jenny ab. Das wird nichts. Das schaut scheiße aus, ich krieg`s einfach nicht hin! Jammerte ich und mir war zum heulen zumute. Ich kann`s doch auch nicht besser und du musst dich ja auch noch anziehen! Ich schaute an mir herunter und erst da fiel mir auf, dass ich noch nicht einmal mein Kleid angezogen hatte. Oh Gott. Das hatte ich ja total vergessen. Ich weiß Rettung! Schnell rannte ich aus dem Bad, schnappte mir das Telefon und wählte eine Nummer. Feehily! Barry schnell, gib mir Dhana! Kurz darauf hörte ich Dhanas Stimme. Hi Maus, wie...! Hilfe Dhana, wir brauchen Hilfe. Sofort! Wie weit seit ihr? fragte Dhana und anhand ihrer Stimme konnte ich erkennen, dass sie nun auch hektisch wurde. Jenny braucht noch die Frisur, ich noch das komplette Programm! Plötzlich kicherte Dhana. Wie das wohl ausschaut, wenn die Braut und die Trauzeugin nicht rechtzeitig zur Hochzeit kommen? Das ist nicht witzig Dhana! jammerte ich. Ich weiß. Ich trommle die Mädels zusammen und wir sind sofort bei euch. Bist du wenigstens schon angezogen? Musst dich ja ausnahmsweise nicht zwischen einen von deinen Klamotten entscheiden. Dhana, ich schreie gleich! Das ist jetzt nicht wahr, oder? Doch! Um Gottes Willen! Zieh dich an, wir sind sofort da! Ich befolgte Dhanas Ratschlag und als Sina, Sandra, Gillian und Dhana fünfzehn Minuten später vor der Tür standen, hatte ich bereits mein Kleid angezogen.
