 Camel ist eine ueberaus stilsichere Band, sehr anspruchsvoll in den Kompositionen...leider haben sie nie so laut "geschrien" wie viele Andere...und blieben, meiner Meinung nach, unterbewertet. Zudem hatten sie wirklich Pech mit ihrer Gesundheit (Bardens, Ward, Latimer).... |

Ich denke darüber nach, mir die Rajaz und A Nod And A Wink zu kaufen (Tipps aus dem Genesisforum). Die Rezis bei amazon.de sind gut, was haltet ihr von diesen Werken?
Node and a Wink ist mir zu retro (natuerlich trotzdem super) ..Rajazz ist ein Meisterwerk....sehr spacige "floydige" Gitarre...sehr empfehlenswert....im Stil von "ice"....

MOONDANCES New DVD fom CAMEL
Our apolgies for not yet offering Moondances on our shop site. Andrew has been the top priority at CP and we haven't been able to take on the extra work load for orders. We will offer it very soon, and the first 500 copies will have an autographed insert, signed by Andrew from his hospital bed!
Andrew's Health TRANSPLANT DAY!
Andrew is progressing very well. Thus far, he has tolerated the treatment exceptionally well, but we still take it one day at a time. So far, he has not suffered any serious side effects and his spirits are positive and strong. Today is transplant day...
Many of you have written to us encouraging us to hold an Hour Candle vigil for Andrew and we were thinking the very same thing. If you are able, please light a candle for Andrew, today, 21st November, at 1600hrs GMT. That is when Andrew will receive his bone marrow transplant. Spend an hour 'with' him, thinking of him in your way, perhaps listening to your favourite Camel album or spending time with loved ones to celebrate the good things in life. I have seen the strength Andrew has derived from the love and support he has received from family, friends, and the kind words of support so many of you have sent. That support has strengthened not only his physical, mental and emotional state, but it has strengthened his resolve to get well and get back on stage.
So please light an Hour Candle for him today. If you don't get this until after the transplant hour, light a candle for him anyway, whenever you can. Light that candle and send the strength of your feelings to him at any time.
Thank you for your enery, your good wishes, prayers, thoughts, candles, messages, and for your love of this wonderful man who has much yet to give in return.

Ich höre mir im Monet mal wieder das tolle Livealbum
Camel - Pressure Points
an, und eben fiel mir während des Songs "West Berlin" 
ein, dass die Live-Scheibe "Never Let Go" seit langem auf meiner Wunschliste steht, das Teil kostet übrigens bei amazon.de schlappe 37,99 Euronen. Kann jemand von euch dsas Album empfehlen? Es enthält übrigens das (mir noch unbekannte) Konzeptalbum "Dust And Dreams" live.
Jetzt läuft "Fingertips"... herrlich! Wer "Pressure Points" noch nicht sein eigen nennt, dem sei es ans Herz gelegt

Ich habe "Pressure Points". Gutes Album, aber "A Live Record" gefällt mir besser. Das Album "Dust And Dreams" ist wirklich ein Juwel. Für Dich als PF-Fan dürfte es eine Fundgrube in Sachen "Fender-Gitarren-Sounds" sein.
"Dust And Dreams" ist ein Konzeptalbum über eine Familie, die in Amerika in Richtung Westen zieht. Sehr emotionales Album. Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen.
