Aber Whitehouse selbst ist gruselig.
Ein paar Stücke noch von Furtado, aus ihrer Frühphase, die wirklich irgendwie progressiv sind, da Folklore mit Popmusik verschmolzen wird und sehr attraktive Musiklinien vorkommen; dass sowas berühmt wird....:
- Powerless - sehr starker Refrain und guter Gesang - auch handmade; Keyboard, Akustikgitarre, Schlagzeug, Bass und Gesang.
- Promiscuos Girl - sehr interessante Hiphop- und Soulanleihen und unplugged
- I'm Like A Bird - recht poppig, aber ganz interessanter Hintergrund
Say it Right - wohl der größte Hit, ganz passable Ethno Anleihen, aber sonst todlangweilig und schrecklich gesungen.
Mit einem anderen Produzenten, der nicht Timbaland heißt, wäre das was sehr gutes draus geworden.
Merkwürdig, dass einem Progfan so etwas gefällt, aber einige neue Musik die man abundzu im Radio hört (nicht neue Musik von alten Bands (!)) ist sehr gut und interessant gemacht. Meistens werden die Musiker nach interessanten Ansätzen dann aber vom Geld gepackt... leider.

Dafür singt sie besser und macht bessere Musik als z.B Kyle Manoik (oder so ähnlich)

Bestimmt wirkt sie nur wie eine Drogenleiche.... natürlich ist sies nicht, wie komme ich bloß darauf.

Die will nur wie Nina Hagen aussehen. 
Aber Kylie Minogue, Shakira, Madonna, Christian Aguilera oder wie die alle heißen, die sind mir zu gewöhnlich... NF fällt (fiel) da aus der Gruppe heraus.

Das ist doch eher der von der Werbung favorisierte "Heroin-Chic"...
Und komisch...wenn ich mir so z.B. Peter Gabriel, Phill Collins, Rick Wakeman und/oder David Gilmour anschaue. Letztere sehen aus wie die personifizierten Guinneswerbeträger. Aber Bier (oder das dünne labrige Zeug in den 1L Krügen) ist ja Grunddnahrungsmittel in Bayern!
