network links

network links

hello everybody,

I have started to develop a list of links with del.icio.us (open source) which I will insert as RSS feed into our website where we will open a special section for students and student networks. Please have a look at the links and feel free to add or use the same RSS feed for this forum or other sites
https://del.icio.us/EADI/student_network

RSS:
https://del.icio.us/rss/EADI/student_network

I hope we will be able to link a "critical mass" of students and networks that could interact and eventually form something like a joint Working Group (which could - but must not - be under the umbrella of EADI and have an official EADI Working Group status) with links to our partners in the South.
In this context, I will contact our partner networks (EADI sister organisations within ICCDA) to see whether networking with students in their associations is possible...

Still some efforts to be undertaken...
But this list (see above) is a very first step.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Best,
Fritz

 Re: network links

Hey Fritz,

thanks very much for your effort to create that list of networks!!! In fact we have to continue working on that. I hope we will find some time on our meeting in June to discuss this further.

I have a question:if I know one or several more networks which should e added up to that list: how should I proceed?

Do I have the option to add it up to the list directly or should I write you an email?

Greetings

Ele

Re: network links

The list is on the del.icio.us/EADI site, where you can view and retrieve infos. but you need an password protected access to be able to add.

so, either you send me the links and I post them, or

you create your own de.icio.us account (takes only 2 minutes and is free) where you can then create the links and give them a comprehensive tag. We can then share tags very easily by importing and copying...

By the way, did you have a look at the NetSYD d-group? this might be a useful tool for networking. (www.dgroups.org/groups/netsyd/)

ciao,

Fritz
